Today we recommend a flake crusher from Eschenfelder company

The "Ur-Flocker"

Infinitely adjustable, this Eschenfelder flaker processes all grains (except corn) into delicious and healthy flakes. Perfect workmanship in connection with high-quality material guarantee ease of use and decades of joy with this flocking classic. The nickel-free stainless steel rollers with criss-cross ribbing generate an evenly high and enormously powerful pressure.

Squeezing poppy seeds, unripe spelt for patties, sesame for muesli...

... all no problem for the Eschenfelder Flocker. The stainless steel rollers (nickel-free) also process lentils, rice, seedlings, chopped nuts, fennel, sunflower seeds, caraway, coriander, aniseed, pepper...finely or coarsely, of course continuously adjustable.

Due to the open design and the removable wooden funnel of the Eschenfelder Flocker, cleaning after crushing oilseeds and spices is no problem.

We also supply a table clamp for attaching the flocker to panels up to 48 mm thick. Alternatively, also available with a beautiful funnel and crank handle made of walnut, as a wall model or - with the same high technical quality but inexpensive - with an aluminum funnel.

Quality made in Germany

All of the wood processed by Eschenfelder comes from domestic certified sustainable forest stocks. The wooden surfaces are carefully oiled and polished with linseed oil varnish (organic). The Eschenfelder company attaches great importance to high-quality raw materials from Germany, if possible from the region, as well as manual processing that reliably produces good products.

With the normal long crank (20 centimetres), the Eschenfelder grain crushing are very easy to turn. If you want it to be even smoother, you should order an extra-long crank (25 centimeters long). This extra long crank is not supplied in addition but instead of the normal long crank, the crank is fixed!

Of course, flake crushing with oversized cranks requires more space (crank radius then approx. 60 centimeters instead of 50 centimetres) and the lowest point when turning the crank is also shifted downwards by 5 centimetres.

We are enthusiastic, have been using it for several years and have therefore included it on our homepage.
